The Department of Finance is responsible for

establishing and maintaining sound fiscal policies for the City
·
accounting for the City's financial resources
·
monthly and annual financial reporting
·
payroll and benefits administration for City employees
·
disbursing funds for City purchases
·
billing and collection of water, sewer, and garbage accounts
·
billing and collection of real estate and property taxes
·
collection of miscellaneous local taxes and fees such as meals tax, lodging tax,
parking tickets, etc.
·
sale of vehicle decals, dog/cat licenses, and yard sale permits
·
delinquent tax collection
·
budget administration
